Footprint embedded in the rock?

Footprint in the rock, hmm...who's was it?

Footprint embedded in the rock?

Oh we had to go find it, so we got the general area from the seasoned veterans, meet up with Jim and Barb, and off we went to find the footprint.

Deb stepped on and over the print before Jim spotted it.

Hmm... could this once have been sand? After all this land was once water.

"Footprint in the Sand" ~ Mary Stevenson, 1936

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,

“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

Now, It's time for you to get out and enjoy a walk. Train yourself to see the details of your life the way a photographer looks for the details of a scene. But don't stop with what you see: use all your senses to become a connoisseur of events and details... Don't keep your appreciation of detail to yourself, but share with others. Can't wait to hear from you! ;o)

  2. It's actually a choice, more then fortunate, as anyone who makes the decision to explore this great country can make it a REALITY. We've come to realize you can even live this life without being retired, so we would love to have you join us... if you care too! :0) Hugs to you Sandy B.
